Details:

• For those little makers: Time to get crafty! This class is for any child who loves arts and crafts. Students will learn the elements of design as we focus on building foundational skills.
• Learning techniques: Students will be able to experiment with all kinds of techniques like collage, silkscreen printing, mixed media artwork, painting, drawing, and more.
• Developing skills: Every project will help develop the students’ artistic ability and fine motor skills as they become more familiar with the tools, materials, and with the art making process.
• Creative encouragement: Students are encouraged to be creative and use their imagination.
• Exploring themes: Each project will introduce a new theme where the students will explore the subject matter and the associated vocabulary.
• No repeating projects: Our art projects are never duplicated. Every semester, we hope to build and reinforce the exposure to different materials, techniques and processes. We encourage kids to continue taking the class in their age range so that they may acquire a confidant approach and strong artistic foundation.
