Pack your bags! It’s time to travel around the world exploring art from many different cultures. We will be learning and taking inspiration from civilizations around the globe. We offer this camp every year because we believe in cultural awareness, and it is inspiring to see young minds learn about new people and places: each year we choose 4 new countries to explore through art and art history. Last year, we traveled to Greece, France, Peru, and Tanzania. This year, we are getting our passports stamped in Egypt, Japan, Chile with a focus on Easter Island, and the United States! We will focus on 1-2 of our own American States!  If you have been to this camp before, you know that we also listen to music from our travel destinations! As we earn our passport stamps, we will bring our art projects to life using a variety of techniques and materials to create artwork in 2-D, 3-D and in mixed media!! We will even throw a slice of Italy in the mix at the end of the week for a pizza party. Don’t miss out on this creative and cultural vacation!

Materials

*The course materials are included in the price of the class.

Pricing and Payment

We offer early bird pricing until April 1st. After April 1, there is a 10% discount (off the full price of the second camp) for campers who register for more than one camp.

We accept payment for summer camp registration on our website, in the studio, or by mailing a check after having registered your camper over the phone. Please note that payment in full is required to guarantee your seat.  Please be aware that your reservation is NOT confirmed until full payment is received.

First Day of Camp – Medical Information

ALL students must be accompanied by a guardian on the first day of camp for initial check-in.  We will check-in campers, accept outstanding payments, review pick-up policies and address any medical concerns.

Artissima Studio must be made aware of all pertinent medical concerns and/or allergies for the safety of the campers. This information will be kept confidential.

Break & Snack

There will be a short break during each day at camp. Campers may bring light snacks to eat during the break; no snacks will be provided.  Water bottles are recommended even thought we have water at the studio for the students. Campers will not be permitted to leave the premise to obtain food. Please advise Artissima in advance of a severe nut allergy so that we can alert the families to prohibit snack foods containing nuts. Please also make your child aware if he or she is bringing food containing nuts. Artissima will host a pizza party on Friday to celebrate the fun week of fantastic art creation.

Dress for a Mess

We provide aprons for the students, but it is hard to prevent all messes as the kids excitedly dive into the materials.

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
