    January 26, 2015 - May 18, 2015
    6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Get Creative! The course, 2-D Techniques, is offered during the spring semester to students, ages 11-14. The curriculum is focused primarily, but not solely, on 2-D artistic practices. The students will focus on honing their drawing and painting techniques, while paying particular attention to the overall principles of design. Students will make strides in understanding color theory and spatial relationships in their work. They will expand their knowledge by experimenting with different materials, and they will also be introduced to artists and art movements that will inform their work! Students will be encouraged to think creatively, reflect upon their work, engage in class discussions, and have a great time as they grow as artists.

*The course materials are included in the price of the class
